High white ceilings and timber panelled walls creates a beautiful light and airy atmosphere. As you walk in three staggered oyster shell chandeliers greet you, a striking natural feature over a large timber pedestal table filled with bunches of fresh flowers and bowls of fruit.
An eclectic mix of dining chairs in various materials adds warmth and interest to an otherwise stark space. With signature lobster pot pendants lighting up the bar and serving areas tying through the natural textures from the dining tables and chairs below. Polished concrete floors are complimented by Carrara Marble bench tops and concrete indoor pots that host a variety of exotic leafy plants.
Green and blue hues used subtly throughout are a warm contrast to the white finishes and compliments the sandstone and timber elements. It’s the clever layering of these various textures that gives us this relaxing coastal theme and mood of nostalgia.
Like they say it’s beauty in the details, which is exactly what makes this whole scheme work. Broken down this can easily be applied to your own home just by painting your walls a neutral colour to act as the perfect backdrop in order to layer raw textures and timbers. Hues of blues used in cushions or decorative accents will add a sense of calm and indoor plants will add a slight tropical touch.
