DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM HOME
My dream home would be a single story Victorian style home at the front, with a modern extension at the back. It would have large open plan living spaces with tall ceilings, herringbone floorboards, white walls and a large fig tree featured in the backyard.
WHAT’S YOUR #1 TIP FOR MAKING A HOUSE A HOME?
Adding unique antiques and cultural pieces that have been collected over the years through travel and from various places always makes a house feel like a home. It adds an element of a journey to your home and showcases a bit about the way you live your life. And houseplants are always a must to add some greenery.
WHAT PATH LED YOU TO FURNISH AND FINISH?
I have always been interested in interiors since I was young. I was the kid that brought back cultural antiques from a holiday as a souvenir. It took a little bit of trial and error in other industries for me to realise that I wanted to pursue a career in something I loved: interiors.
WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION?
I get a lot of my inspiration from Pinterest and Instagram, endless hours of scrolling and saving. And there’s nothing quite like picking up a magazine and flicking through for some inspiration.
