Describe your dream home
Luxe meets tropical resort haven. With open planned spaces, high ceilings exposing distressed natural woods, elements of copper, gold and black metals, textured neutral tones such as linens and whites mixed with tropical plants and water colour blues.
What’s your #1 tip for making a house a home?
With so many looks and trends present, the key is to create unity and textures between spaces. A few simple ways to bring each space together is start with the flooring add a rug or keep the material flowing throughout house, lighting – can be a lamp, pendant or spot light, Artwork – use of designer prints or photographs and finally customising details such as hardware like painting a dresser or using faux gold leaf on your favourite lamp base.
What path led you to Furnish and Finish?
Having studied my diploma in Interior Design and Colour Consulting at Sydney Design School, my passion was decorating and styling. After running my own styling business I decided to join Furnish and Finish and be part of a team environment.
Where do you find inspiration?
Social media spaces like Instagram, Pinterest and designer stylist blogs. I also love flicking through interior magazines, TV shows and going to funky bespoke bars and restaurants.
